A solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid African mahogany back and sides creates a beautifully balanced tonal palette—warm, earthy lows with shimmering, defined highs. The forward-shifted scalloped Adirondack spruce bracing enhances projection and sensitivity, giving the M-40 a lively, expressive feel under the fingers.
